My Ultimate Beauty Icon

If someone were to ask you who your ultimate beauty icon is, who would be the first person to pop into your mind? It could be anyone from a celebrity, to a blogger, to your friend or even a random girl at work that always has impeccable make up. (If the latter relates to you, please ask her how she gets her make up so perfect with so little time in the morning because that is a skill in itself and I need it!)

When I read this question, I knew who my ultimate beauty icon would be. She was known for her sultry looks and distinctive voice. Her name is Lauren Bacall and ever since I was a little girl, she has been my beauty icon. I was first introduced to Lauren Bacall by my nanna, when she gave me Lauren Bacall's biography to read, after the first page I was hooked. 

Aside from her sultry looks and distinctive voice, Lauren Bacall was also known for the 'Hollywood look' which entailed the bold red lip and defined eyebrows, accompanied with the smoldering stare.

To perfect the Lauren Bacall Hollywood look, I would use;
