Christmas Work Do // Amzy In Wonderland

It's been a while since I've uploaded a blog post. I have been so busy with work lately, as well as trying to start up on Youtube with my friend Laura. So hopefully within the new year we will both be on Youtube and blogging regularly.

I'm just going to keep this post short and sweet, like I am (Cough cough).

I recently went on my Christmas work do. I do have to say, seeing drunk nurses and doctors can be really good entertainment.
I went to the Hilton Hotel for a three course meal and a dance. For my first course, I had 'apple and parsnip soup'. Yep, you read that right. Apple and parsnip! Who would have thought that it would taste nice? Or maybe I just have weird taste buds. For my main, I had turkey in blankets, with apricot stuffing, mash and veg and for my pudding I had Christmas Pudding with brandy ice cream. I do have to say, I was incredibly disappointed by the food and that's why there isn't any pictures. It was cold and hard. The only good thing about it all was the brandy ice cream. (My lactose intolerance didn't agree, but alcohol ice cream! Who could turn that down?)

My dress is from AX Paris, I purchased it from New Look for £28. But it's now in the New Look sale for £20. I'm literally obsessed with this dress, I love the skater style with lace idea. It's fitting against your body but comfy at the same time! Obsessed!

What did everyone do for their Christmas work do/friends meal?
