Forts and picnics with Cauli Rice

One of my favourite ways to spend a sunny day is outside having a picnic inside a fort (because adulting is boring). So this is exactly what I have done. Michael created a fort in the garden whilst I whipped up some yummy healthy food for us to enjoy.

For the main 'salad' bowl, I boiled a couple of eggs, wilted spinach with cherry tomatos and chopped up 1 whole avacado. I then popped my mediterranean cauli rice into the microwave for 2 minutes, once that had finished I placed the Cauli Rice into a bowl and added in the above ingrediant.

For the snacks I simply popped banana's, apples, blueberries, crisps and almond nuts into bowls.

Michael and I then sat inside the fort and enjoyed the food. Neither Michael and I have tried cauliflower rice before, so we were both intrigued and I have to say, so far so good. I have yet to try the other flavours from Cauli Rice, but the mediterranean cauli rice tastes good and I do reccomend it if you're looking for a healther alternative or have issues with carbs like I do.

*I have been sent Cauli Rice to review, all opinions are my own and 100% truthful.

  4. That's some cool stuff you did in a sunny day !

  5. Oh I wish I could join you for a fun picnic!!!

  6. Looks like you had fun! I love egg in a picnic. :)

  7. Oooh so many goodies to eat. Love the colors in your salad bowl! :]

  8. This place doesn’t have any 'i'm too cool and busy for you' wait staff. As per me, everyone at San Francisco venues is nice, friendly, and helpful and they really seem to like their jobs there and that is important to me. We had an awesome experience here.
